Effective September 2026
Short version: Warmth does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, to Gal Orlanczyk or to anyone else. There is no account, no analytics, and no network access beyond what's described below.
Warmth can use your Mac's location (via macOS Core Location) to calculate local sunrise and sunset times for your color-warming schedule. This location data is used only on your device, for this calculation, and is never transmitted anywhere or stored beyond what the schedule needs. If you'd rather not grant location access, you can set a fixed location manually in Warmth's Settings instead.
Your schedule and preferences are stored locally on your Mac (in standard macOS application preferences) and never leave your device.
Warmth has no user accounts, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and does not share data with any third party — because it doesn't collect any to share.
